KAROL ŻURAWSKI
Design of the exhibition organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the reconstruction of the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera - after the war.
50 photographs of a contemporary artist Nicolas Grospierre depicting the spaces of the building
were exhibited in the lavish foyer of the theatre - full of marble slabs,
stucco and very special brass details - designed by one of the most prominent polish architects of the 20th century - Bohdan Pniewski.
The photographs are exhibited in a way that to look at them one has to lower his head.
In this spectacular, but distracting interior this gesture helps to concentrate on the beautiful images.
