KAROL ŻURAWSKI
A massive piece of solid wood. The richness of the lively material is exposed with time.
Seamless and smooth in the beginning it slowly starts to crack.
It is a natural reaction to the outer conditions: changes in temperature and humidity.
Thanks to the rain and sun the patina shows up: the surface gets the noble silver-gray colour.
The bench was build at the entrance to the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw at Pańska street.
